 Ronald Ernest Paul
Full Name: Ronald Ernest Paul
Born: Aug. 20, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Ronald Ernest Paul is an American physician, author and former politician who served as a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representative (1976-77, 1979-85, 1997-2013) and ran as the 1988 Libertarian presidential candidate before seeking the Republican nomination in 2008 and 2012; Paul’s spirited opposition to the military-industrial complex and government corruption (including voting against the invasion of Iraq and the USA Patriot Act) made him a hero to many, though he’s more likely a con-op.
